There are three models in the AX series of amplifiers, all offering you professional quality and high power in a compact 2 rack space package. As well as Hi Pass filters, stereo crossovers and twin cooling fans, their biggest asset is their sound. Studiomaster amplifiers have always been set apart from the others because of their exceptional sound quality. The AX continues this tradition.
The AX amplifiers are suited for virtually any application. The crossover can be set at either 100Hz or 150Hz, and assigned to the high, or low frequency signal for each channel. The output from each crossover is also available on 1/4" jacks to connect more amplifiers.
The input connectors are balanced combination jack/XLR. The amplifiers all have three modes of operation : stereo, paralleled input and bridged mono. Switchable 35Hz Hi pass filters and clip limiters are available on each channel.
Internally the amplifiers are separate modules comprising circuit PCB and heatsink, each with independent DC and thermal overload protection.
The chassis is black textured steel, with double thickness front rack ears, plenty of ventilation and rear rack fixing.
